What materials are included?
Intro courses include clay and shared tools. Glazes and firing are provided during class hours.
Tip: keep labels on your work; we batch loads by clay body and target cone.
Do I need prior experience?
No. Beginner tracks assume zero experience and teach every step.
We cover wedging, centering, trimming, handles, basic glazing, and kiln etiquette.
How does firing scheduling work?
We batch work by cone and thickness; turnarounds vary by load and drying time.
- Greenware must be fully dry before bisque.
- Glaze firings depend on kiln availability and compatible glaze schedules.
- We notify in class when pieces are ready for the next step.
Are there safety guidelines?
Yes. We cover dust control, heat safety, and glaze handling in every cohort.
No dry sweeping; wet-clean only. Kiln room access is instructor-led.
